Invisio unveils the addition of seamless wireless comms capability to their intercom system
Invisio has announced the introduction of Invisio Link, a new wireless communication capability for its intercom system that provides unlimited mobility in the field whilst maintaining unrivalled situational awareness.
Invisio Link, which will be available in the first half of 2025, features a body-worn dongle and a base station that connect wirelessly, eliminating the need for tangled cords and enhancing user freedom. This lightweight and portable solution promises seamless transitions between mounted and dismounted scenarios.
Advanced features
Invisio Link provides tailored connectivity, allowing users to establish customised communication channels. Its primary advantage is the elimination of tangled cords, providing unrestricted movement within various platforms. The system ensures smooth transitions between wired and wireless modes, featuring auto-connect capabilities for ease of use in the field.
Despite its wireless nature, Invisio Link maintains uncompromised speech intelligibility and robust connectivity, even in challenging environments. The dongle weighs just 70g, and the base station is compact, enhancing portability and ease of installation.

Security and flexibility
This new wireless solution also prioritises security with AES 256 encryption, ensuring that communications remain secure. Invisio Link offers adjustable transmitting power, making it adaptable to different operational needs. The base station, weighing 270g and measuring 78 x 100 x 30mm, can be mounted in various configurations, including fixed installations, on molle webbing, or in a bag, with an optional external antenna for challenging radio frequency (RF) environments. This flexibility ensures that the system can be tailored to specific mission requirements.
“Invisio Link gives users more freedom and mobility than ever and provides hassle-free transitions between mounted and dismounted scenarios,” Jacob Tranegaard, the company’s Director Intercom Product Management asserted. “Wireless often comes with concerns around audio quality, but Invisio Link provides uncompromised speech intelligibility that is as clear as wired systems. We know wireless communication is the next step forward in our industry and are delighted to add this to our offering,” he added.
