Lynred launches a new tool to simplify the integration of infrared sensors

Lynred, a major player in infrared technologies used in the security, defence, aerospace and industrial sectors, designs high-precision sensors deployed worldwide. Today, the French company is taking a new step forward with the launch of its first software suite, LTB, which simplifies the use and integration of its sensors into its customers’ systems.

Time savings for professionals

Lynred, one of the world leaders in infrared technology, has just launched its very first software suite: Lynred ToolBox (LTB). This new tool has been designed to help companies integrate the brand’s infrared sensors into their systems more easily. LTB helps significantly reduce the time required to develop a new product.

LTB accompanies the launch of Lynred’s latest infrared modules (ATI EOLE and GALATEA) and is aimed at players in the defence, surveillance, industry and even environmental sectors. The software allows you to view images captured by infrared detectors directly on the screen as they are taken. Thanks to a clear and easy-to-use interface, even those who are not tech-savvy can use it to test sensors, adjust settings, and verify that everything is working properly.

An all-in-one, easy-to-use tool

The LTB suite offers a range of essential functions: image acquisition, thermal video recording, adjustment of settings, image quality enhancement, etc. All stages of integration are made easier. For example, the software can automatically correct visual defects, increase contrast and reduce image noise.

LTB is compatible with a wide range of Lynred sensors, both cooled and uncooled. It runs on both Windows and Linux, offering great flexibility for technical teams.

Preview presentation in the United States

The LTB suite will be officially unveiled at the SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing 2025 trade show, taking place from 13 to 17 April in Orlando (United States). Visitors will be able to attend a demonstration at the Lynred stand (No. 1401) and discover all the features of this new tool first-hand. A dedicated poster will also be presented by Benoit Louvat, R&D Manager at Lynred.

With this first software offering, Lynred is strengthening its innovation strategy. The objective is clear: to make its technologies more accessible and help professionals save time while improving the quality of their equipment. This advance fully meets the expectations of security and defence stakeholders.
