PARIFEX, a Paris-based company specialising in road measurement and control solutions, has just been awarded its first EcoVadis medal. This is a major recognition for an SME that places social, ethical and environmental issues at the heart of its strategy.
A demanding assessment for a first distinction
In April 2025, PARIFEX reached a major milestone in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy by receiving the EcoVadis medal. This international certification assesses more than 100,000 companies worldwide each year according to strict criteria divided into four main themes: environment, social & human rights, ethics and responsible procurement.
In this first assessment, PARIFEX was awarded a bronze medal, placing it in the top 15% of companies assessed over the last 12 months. This score reflects the growing structure of its CSR approach and a strong commitment to integrating these issues into all aspects of its business, both in France and internationally.
Concrete actions in favour of employees
The company has distinguished itself through its active social policy. It regularly organises training courses on first aid, psychosocial risks and harassment, demonstrating a commitment to prevention and inclusion. It also organises collective initiatives such as Quality of Life at Work Week, sports activities and social events, thereby strengthening internal cohesion and well-being on a daily basis.
These commitments are formalised in an ethical charter, which is communicated to all employees. This document sets out the fundamental principles of respect, diversity and responsibility expected within the company. PARIFEX thus promotes a corporate culture in which every employee has an active role to play in social and environmental transition.
Reducing its environmental footprint: a priority
In terms of the environment, PARIFEX has made efforts to reduce the impact of its activities. This involves concrete actions such as optimising logistics flows, reducing the electricity consumption of its radars and offices, and systematically recycling packaging. The company is committed to integrating eco-design into its industrial processes and is focusing on sustainable innovations such as the 3D-LiDAR sensor, which consumes less energy than traditional technologies.
As part of this drive, the company has also reviewed its choice of partners and suppliers to favour those who are committed to CSR. It thus intends to play a leading role in the technology and road transport ecosystem by promoting more virtuous value chains.
With this recognition from EcoVadis, PARIFEX confirms its commitment to combining technological innovation and social responsibility. This first step in the CSR assessment is just the beginning. The company now intends to build on the areas for improvement identified to strengthen its commitments in the coming months. It has a clear ambition: ‘To continue the actions we have undertaken in the social, ethical and environmental fields, and to go even further in this dynamic.’
