JPB Système celebrates 30 years with major expansion and digital transformation

French aerospace manufacturer JPB Système recently marked its 30th anniversary with the announcement of two major strategic moves: the opening of a 4,000 m² manufacturing facility in Poland and the launch of a comprehensive digital transformation programme aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability.

Founded in 1995 with a single self-locking solution developed for a specific aviation customer, JPB Système has evolved into a global leader in precision-engineered self-locking devices, including its well-known borescope plugs. The company’s entire product portfolio is patented and developed in-house by its R&D team, with ongoing improvements to meet changing customer needs and regulatory demands. Its self-locking solutions are available in various sizes and can be customised for specialised applications.

Over the years, JPB Système has expanded beyond aerospace to serve industries such as defence, rail, amusement parks, and ski lifts – sectors where high-reliability fastening solutions are critical.

Major investment to support growth

The new facility in Rzeszow, Poland, unveiled in March 2025, is a key step in JPB Système’s growth strategy. Strategically located near major aircraft suppliers and partners such as Pratt & Whitney and MTU Aero Engines, the site expands the company’s production capacity by more than 60%, enabling it to better meet regional and global demand.

The facility is fitted with advanced milling machines, high-precision inspection equipment, and automated marking systems to maintain stringent quality standards. According to the company, this expansion allows faster delivery times and streamlined logistics, especially for its customers in Eastern Europe.

“As the world’s leading supplier of self-locking devices, we have a range of solutions for some of the most exacting and regulated industries in the world,” said Damien Marc, CEO of JPB Système.

“In recognition of [the challenges the aircraft industry faces] and to better support our customers in Eastern Europe, we will now also manufacture all our products – including the leading Lulylok™ B-nut solution – locally. This will enable us to streamline production, customer service, and through our new digital transformation program – in time – further unlock additional and exceptional levels of sustainability and CO₂ reduction,” he added.

Digital strategy for a greener future

Alongside its physical expansion, JPB Système also announced a new digital transformation initiative, reinforcing its commitment to modern manufacturing and responsible industrial practices. A long-time member of French Tech, French Fab, and the “Industry of the Future” initiative, the company has embraced automation and robotics for many years.

The new programme aims to use data analytics to improve material efficiency, enhance production planning, and reduce energy consumption. These efforts are expected to deliver smarter, more sustainable solutions for customers — and contribute to long-term decarbonisation goals.

JPB Système is building on existing capabilities, such as automated tracking, serialised product records, and image-based traceability. As the transformation progresses, the company anticipates measurable improvements in resource use, emissions reduction, and overall operational performance.

The initiative is part of a broader vision to ensure that innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility remain central to the company’s manufacturing approach.

Looking ahead

“As we celebrate thirty years of excellence, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation,” Marc stated. “With three decades of expertise, a growing global footprint, and a clear vision for the future, JPB Système is set to continue revolutionising manufacturing processes while driving sustainable advancements in the aerospace and engineering sectors.”

From its origins as a niche supplier to a trusted global partner, JPB Système’s evolution has been defined by continuous innovation and a commitment to meeting the highest standards — a legacy that its new facility and digital transformation programme are now set to carry forward into the next era.
