Held from 23 to 25 April 2025 in New Delhi, the second edition of Milipol India brought together 150 exhibitors from five countries and more than 4,000 visitors to discuss key issues in internal security. The event stood out for its programme of regional conferences and technology demonstrations.

A symbolic opening

The opening ceremony was marked by a minute’s silence in tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam attack. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. François-Noël Buffet, representative of the French Minister of the Interior, and Mr. Nityanand Rai, Indian Minister of State for Home Affairs.

The latter emphasised the growing importance of the Franco-Indian partnership:

‘Together, we can strengthen the capabilities of our security forces, invest in the co-production of advanced technologies and create an environment where start-ups and SMEs can collaborate and innovate,’ he said.

An international technology showcase

Exhibitors from India, France, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and the Netherlands presented cutting-edge solutions in cybersecurity, AI, drones and armaments. Among the flagship innovations were the Rover Mark-1, a robot designed entirely in India for detecting suspicious objects, and CARACAL’s CSR 50 rifle, designed for long-range operations.

Optiemus’ FPV drones also attracted attention thanks to their optical cable navigation, which is resistant to electronic jamming.
