Genetec launches Cloudlink 210, a new cloud-based access management device
The Canadian company Genetec has announced the launch of Cloudlink 210, a multifunction device designed to facilitate the migration to cloud-connected security systems. This new device aims to meet the growing need for flexibility and integration in physical security environments.
A bridge between existing equipment and cloud-based systems
Cloudlink 210 is a gateway that allows existing access control equipment to be connected to cloud platforms without the need for a complete replacement. According to Genetec, the device facilitates the progressive evolution of security infrastructures by adapting to various hardware environments.
Centralised management and scalability
Compatible with Genetec’s Security Center platform, Cloudlink 210 enables centralised device management via the cloud. This approach aims to improve the visibility, supervision and remote maintenance of security systems, while reducing dependence on local servers.
The new device incorporates digital security functions, including data encryption, strong authentication and automatic updates. These elements aim to limit the risks associated with cyber threats, while simplifying the operational management of physical access.
