RIEGL and Diamond Aircraft forge innovation in airborne laser scanning with the DA62 SurveyStar by combining RIEGL’s expertise in laser measurement systems with Diamond Aircraft’s extensive experience in special mission aircraft. The DA62 SurveyStar is setting new standards in aerial surveying capabilities. As a result of the two companies’ long-standing cooperation, RIEGL’s advanced airborne laser scanners and systems can now be seamlessly integrated into the new test aircraft for comprehensive trials.
With the DA42 GeoStar aircraft operating successfully for nearly 15 years now, RIEGL is proud to be the first Austrian operator to embrace the remarkable successor, the DA62 SurveyStar. This achievement is a testament to the strong and fruitful partnership between RIEGL and Diamond Aircraft.
